My Resume and Areas of Interest
My Areas of Interest
Learning Agility & Curiosity
One of my strengths is that I genuinely enjoy learning new things, especially when it involves markets, technology, and how businesses operate. That curiosity has helped me expand beyond a narrow specialty and develop a wider view across finance, strategy, and business development.
Real Estate Credit & Lending
I have spent much of my career working in real estate credit and private lending, and I am very familiar with how real estate deals are structured, underwritten, and financed. This includes bridge loans, construction loans, value-add lending, and evaluating risk through metrics like loan-to-value, loan-to-cost, debt service coverage, and after-repair value.

Capital Markets & Interest Rates
A big part of my work involves following interest rates, credit markets, and broader capital markets and understanding how changes in rates and liquidity affect lending activity, investment decisions, and risk pricing. I spend a lot of time studying how macroeconomic conditions flow through to financing costs and market opportunities.
Multi-Asset Market Knowledge
In addition to real estate and credit, I follow a broad range of financial markets including equities, fixed income, commodities, and derivatives. I am also personally interested in emerging areas such as emissions markets, weather derivatives, and event contracts, which reflects my broader interest in how financial markets continue to evolve.
Financial Modeling & Market Indicators
I build financial models and market indicators that track changes in market conditions such as interest rates, mortgage spreads, housing supply, credit conditions, and broader market trends. These models help support investment decisions, strategic planning, and the development of research frameworks.
Data Analysis (Excel & Python)
I work extensively with financial and economic data using Excel and Python. I use these tools to organize large datasets, run analysis, build models, and create charts and reports that support both internal decision-making and external communication.
Automation & Workflow Efficiency
I use Python to automate repetitive tasks such as data collection, updating datasets, generating charts, and helping produce reports and presentations. This helps keep information current, improves consistency, and allows more time to focus on analysis, strategy, and relationship-building.
Microsoft Office & Systems Integration
I regularly integrate Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other business tools into my workflow to produce research reports, investor presentations, and market updates. I am especially interested in building practical workflows that improve efficiency without always needing expensive third-party tools or plugins.
CRM & Business Process Support
I also think about automation in terms of business process, not just analysis. That includes using data and technology to support outreach, communication tracking, follow-up workflows, and CRM-related processes that help make business development efforts more organized and scalable.
Research & Market Commentary
I write market reports and investment commentary that explain what is happening in the market, how it affects lending and investment activity, and where potential risks and opportunities may be developing. I enjoy taking complex market information and turning it into something clear, useful, and actionable.
Investor Communication & Presentations
I am comfortable turning analysis into presentation materials, written reports, and market updates for investors, partners, and other decision-makers. I see communication as an important skill in finance because strong analysis only becomes valuable when it can be clearly explained.
Business Development
I use market research, data, and presentations as tools to support business development, capital raising, and relationship building. Being able to explain market conditions, articulate opportunities, and support conversations with useful analysis has been an important part of developing new relationships and supporting growth initiatives.
Strategic Thinking
I am particularly interested in the bigger picture of how markets, business strategy, and capital allocation decisions connect. I enjoy roles where analysis is not isolated, but instead helps guide growth, improve decision-making, and support broader business objectives.
